Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc re-wrote the rules on how this variety can taste and Giesen played a major role in introducing it to wine drinkers around the world. Blanquette de Limoux is produced around the city of Limoux in Languedoc in south western France. 'Blanquette' means' small white' in the local Occitan language and the name comes from the Mauzac grape. Tinged with copper hues, the wine deals out a delightful biscuitlike nose combined with ripe strawberry and peach characters.
